With 2024 fast approaching, Bentley has decided to update the Bentayga with a suite of new technology inside and out, as well as new exterior paint and wheel options.
You may remember that the British luxury carmaker’s one and only SUV was last facelifted back in 2020 when it underwent some pretty major changes in terms of its design.
However, the plastic surgeon hasn’t had as much of a field day this time around as the only big change made to the appearance of the model is a reprofiled front grille.
There are a few more personalisation options available now though, including eight new paint colours on top of the existing 112 already on offer. In addition, customers will also have a new 21-inch multi-spoke wheel design to choose from which is available in three different finishes.
The 2024 model family will also welcome a new variant in the form of the ‘A’ which bridges the gap between the standard SUV and the Azure, bringing the line-up to ten.
All Bentaygas can now be fitted with electronic all-wheel steering, with the feature being standard on the S and Azure but optional on all other variants.
By far the biggest updates to the model have been made inside, including the availability of Airline Seats on all variants which feature automatic posture support adjustment and seat air conditioning.
Upgrades to the Bentayga’s suite of driver assistance features include Intelligent Park Assist with remote parking, a 3D surround camera, and emergency assist. Bentley says it has also “bolstered” Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, and its Safeguard feature too.
The car’s air conditioning system can now measure the air quality, and will automatically activate recirculation mode if it detects high levels of pollution outside. It’ll do the same if the system knows the vehicle is about to enter areas of high pollution, such as a tunnel, by analysing map data.
To top it all off, many of the materials used in the cabin are now more eco-friendly. The standard carpet is now made from fully recycled Nylon while the deep pile mats found in the Azure and A variants are made from 100 per cent wool.
A timeline hasn’t been outlined for the 2024 Bentley Bentayga but we imagine it’ll arrive in dealerships worldwide by the end of this year.
