Kiwi Supercars fans will finally be able to secure their tickets to the 2024 ITM Taupo Supersprint today after a technical glitch impacted their original release date yesterday.
Tickets will now go on sale on Thursday, November 9, at 10 am, granting fans access to the first-ever Supercars race at Taupo International Motorsport Park from April 19 to 21, 2024. Early Bird pricing will be available through Wednesday, December 16.
Those looking to attend can choose from single-day and three-day trackside general admission passes, paddock access, as well as Platinum and Silver grandstand seating options.
Children aged 12 and under are able to walk through the gates free of charge so long as they enter with a paying adult.
If you’ve never been to Taupo International Motorsport Park, the track sits just north of the country’s largest lake and measures 3.32km in length with enough twists and turns to challenge even the best of drivers.
The venue will become the third track in New Zealand to host a Supercars event, joining the likes of the Hamilton street circuit and the now-shuttered Pukekohe Park Raceway.
Next year’s event will also see the Gen3 Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang battle it out on home soil for the first time, with a field consisting of at least four Kiwis.
Those flying our flag include Brad Jones Racing’s Andre Heimgartner, 2023 Repco Bathurst 1000 winner Richie Stanaway, 21-year old Matt Payne, and rookie Ryan Wood.
With all of that being said, you best be getting those tickets booked now as the lights are set to go green for the 2024 ITM Taupo Supersprint from April 19 to 21, 2024.
