On Christmas Day, Saturday 25 December you are not permitted to trade.
You may trade on Boxing Day, 26 December.
Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 December are Statutory holidays as Christmas and Boxing days fall on a weekend.
As New Year’s Day also falls on a Saturday, this holiday will be observed on Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 January.
If you employ staff to work on these days you are required to pay them at time and a half plus give them a day in lieu.

VIA wishes all members the compliments of the season. We recognise that both 2020 and 2021 have been extremely challenging and it is our fervent hope that 2022 will be better even though there will be challenges with COVID on-going, the Clean Car Feebate scheme taking effect on 1 April and the Clean Car Standard being introduced at the same time.
The VIA team will be finishing for the year at 12 noon on Thursday 23 December and back to work on Wednesday 5 January 2022.
