Although the Ford Ranger Raptor has only just hit the showroom floor, people are already advertising them for sale for $15,000 over the list price.
A recent listing by Auckland-based car dealership Auto Globe shows a Raptor priced at $105,990 while Ford New Zealand is offering the ute at $89,990 plus a clean car fee of $5175.
However, the manufacturer list price is expected to increase from next year with the Clean Car Standard bumping it up yet again. So it’s almost as if the second-hand market isn’t too far off.
With eager buyers having to wait at least six-months to get their hands on the new Raptor, could it be worth spending the premium to get one early? You be the judge.
Demonstrator units are now showing up at Ford dealers across the country but if you can’t wait to get behind the wheel, be sure to check out our thoughts of the Ranger Raptor here.
