The arrival of Nissan’s fourth-generation X-Trail is edging closer with local pricing and specification for the model now released.
A completely new platform underpins the SUV with the model growing wider and taller than any X-Trail before it.
Power and torque have also been increased to 135kW and 245Nm via a 2.5-litre four-cylinder connected to a CVT transmission. Each trim level will be available with a four-wheel drive option.
The cabin has received a tech fit-out with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen accepting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There’s also wireless phone charging, a 10.3-inch head-up display and a 360-degree view monitor.
Nissan New Zealand will offer the X-Trail in four trim levels including ST, ST-L, Ti-L and the upcoming e-Power model.
