Opel is set to relaunch in New Zealand in the coming weeks and has now revealed pricing for the second of its initial models to go on sale, the Corsa.
The model will come in two variants including an internal combustion engine model and the fully electric Corsa-e.
Corsa
Starting with the top of the petrol range Corsa SRi, it will be priced from $36,990 + ORC and is eligible for a $2,438 Clean Car Rebate.
The SRi will come complete with LED matrix headlights, painted black exterior elements, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen, 17-inch wheels, active emergency braking (AEB), and lane keep assist.
Engine specifications have yet to be revealed but it will likely receive the turbocharged 1.2-litre three-cylinder unit used in overseas models.
Corsa-e
Opel will also be offering the electric Corsa-e to New Zealand buyers with pricing starting from $59,990 + ORC. An $8625 Clean Car Rebate is also available.
The Corsa-e will only be available in SRi trim which builds on the features of its petrol-powered counterpart while adding semi-autonomous lane positioning assist, a heated flat bottomed leather steering wheel, and more.
Although powertrain specification is also under wraps, Opel NZ claim the Corsa-e can travel up to 383km on a single charge. The WLTP claim is 357km.
Availability
Both the Corsa and Corsa-e will be available for purchase from dealerships across the country from early November when the brand launches.
Also available is the Opel Mokka and Mokka-e with pricing already being announced for the models.
