Turners Auto Retail Division has announced it is exiting it’s Morrin Road site in Panmure, with the Turners Cars Panmure branch having its last day of operations on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
The reason being the lease is expiring and given recent operational performance improvements it has achieved in Auckland, Turners will be transferring all remaining cars to the six other Turners branches in that region.
“We’re always looking at how we can better optimise our footprint and have taken the opportunity of an expiring lease to capitalise on this. We have done a similar exercise in the past and proven that it can improve our overall performance,” says Greg Hedgepeth, Turners Auto Retail CEO.
“Additionally, due to growth we have some open roles in our Auckland branch network, so we will redistribute all of our staff from Panmure to our other six branches.
“This is a positive outcome for those team members and we’re very confident that we’ll be able to better meet our customers’ needs with all our Auckland branches at full capacity.”
The other Auckland branches include Botany, Manukau, Otahuhu, Penrose, North Shore and Westgate.
