Tom Ruddenklau, a well-known senior figure in the automotive industry, is making the shift from selling cars to distributing agricultural machinery.
The executive will take on the duty of chief executive officer (CEO) for Power Farming which is headquartered in the Waikato town of Morrinsville.
Ruddenklau began his career leasing vehicles in the late 1990s to which he advanced into sales and marketing. He went on to become the chief operating officer of Hyundai New Zealand and later the general manager for Volkswagen New Zealand.
His most recent role was the chief operating officer for Armstrong’s automotive group while he still acts as a board member of the Motor Trade Association (MTA).
