Kia New Zealand has announced that the updated Seltos is now available at its 33 authorised dealers across the country.
The updated model features a reimagined exterior alongside enhancements made to the cabin as well as developments made to its onboard technology.
Two variants will initially be available including the LX and LX+, with more trim options set to go on offer in the second quarter of 2023.
A restyled front end and rear garnish now adjoin the LX along with new taillights, privacy glass, front parking sensors and Kia’s Lane Follow Assist (LFA).
Other additions include Speed Limit Assist, a rear-view monitor, and a new 4.2-inch LCD driver instrument display.
The LX+ builds on the lower grade model’s appointments with additions such as new 17-inch alloy wheels, single zone climate control, three additional USB-C charging ports, a full size spare wheel, solar windshield and front door glass.
Both models make use of a 2.0-litre petrol engine which produces 110kW while achieving fuel efficiency of 7.7-litres per 100km.
The LX and LX+ both feature an 8-inch LCD infotainment display connected to a six speaker audio system and is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Seven body colours are available on the updated Seltos which also boasts six airbags and a five star ANCAP safety rating.
“In three years since launch, more than 7000 new Seltos have found homes around the country,” said Managing Director of Kia New Zealand, Todd McDonald.
“It has proven to be a consistent performer in the sales charts and one of the most popular small to medium sized SUV models over recent years.
“The design of the new refreshed 2023 model, together with an attractive price point as well as five year warranty and five year/100,000km roadside assistance package, mean it’s a very compelling proposition for new car buyers who want to live big but drive a medium size vehicle.”
The new 2023 Kia Seltos is on sale now with the LX available from $32,990 MRP while the LX+ is available from $35,990 MRP.
