Skoda New Zealand has confirmed that the Enyaq Sportline will go on sale as its “Launch Edition” model, with pricing starting at $79,990 driveaway.
The Czech manufacturer says it has received ‘strong interest’ from Kiwis for its first fully electric model, which is now eligible for a Clean Car Discount of $7015 thanks to its sub-$80k price tag.
The Enyaq is one of three new fully electric models the New Zealand arm of Skoda plans to launch over the next four years, with more said to follow.
Three Enyaq Launch Editions are on offer, starting from $79,990 for the Sportline which then steps up to $84,990 for the mid-range Sportline Max. Topping the range is the Coupe Sportline Max for $89,990 driveaway.
“With the launch of the Enyaq range and the evolution of the Škoda brand to become more sustainable, we have seen real growth within the brand and one that Kiwis really seem to resonate with,” says Rodney Gillard, General Manager of Skoda New Zealand.
“We’re now thrilled to be able to offer our Enyaq ‘Launch edition’ model that is eligible for the Clean Car Rebate.”
