Following the 2023 Imported Motor Vehicle Industry Association (VIA) annual general meeting, it was announced that Greg Hedgepeth (Turners Auto Retail) and Hayden Johnston (GVI) have been appointed to the organisation’s Board of Directors.
AutoTalk reports that the two will replace Mat Battle (Moana Blue) and Ken Quigley (Jacanna Freight and Customs).
The meeting also saw Chris Stephenson (CFS/Enterprise Cars) remain seconded to the board while the search for a new Chairman continues. Stephenson stood down from the role in May, stating that he had a full workload both professionally and personally.
Frank Willet was the acting Chairman of VIA up until the AGM.
This year’s meeting also marked the end of David Vinsen’s time with the association as its CEO, who will move on once the Board has decided on a replacement.
