Kia will also offer a larger 99.8kWh lithium-ion battery in the Earth AWD LR variant, which boasts a driving range of over 541km, and is priced at $115,990.
A top-of-the-range GT Line will round out the EV9 range at $134,990.
More details surrounding the EV9’s features and specifications will be announced closer to its local launch.
“The all-new Kia EV9 SUV is big, bold, and exciting and will offer Kiwis a genuine option to embrace emissions-free mobility with the ability to transport as many as seven people,” says Managing Director of Kia New Zealand, Todd McDonald.
