New Zealand’s newest car brand, Omoda, has announced where it plans to set up shop when it arrives on our shores early next year.
So far, twelve dealers have been confirmed, with eleven of those being found across the North Island.
Auckland is set to get five locations, while Hamilton, Tauranga, Taupo, Hawkes Bay, Palmerston North, and Wellington each get one.
The South Island will only get a single Omoda showroom initially, but the brand is currently accepting expressions of interest for dealers in Invercargill, Blenheim, and Nelson.
All locations will be home to a sales, service, and spares department, ensuring all owners have their needs met no matter where they are around the country.
“Omoda NZ is extremely excited to work with this dealer network as they bring a wealth of experience and are trusted in their local communities,” the brand said in a release.
Kiwis can expect to see their nearest Omoda showroom pop up as early as February 2024 ahead of the arrival of its first model, the C5, alongside its fully electric E5 variant.
Additional models are also planned to go on sale later next year, including a line-up of Jaecoo-branded vehicles.
