Auto Logistics has announced a significant achievement in its operational history after transporting its 100,000th vehicle off the Ports of Auckland.
The milestone represents a new record for the vehicle transportation company, surpassing its previous best of 81,000 vehicles in 2021 and a substantial 40 per cent increase from the volume transported in 2022.
“2023 has been a breakthrough year for Auto Logistics,” said John Keenan, Chief Executive Officer of Auto Logistics. “With the expansion of our national vehicle storage capacity to 19,000 vehicles, we have significantly enhanced our service capabilities. This has not only enabled us to better serve our existing customers but also to secure significant new business.”
The event to celebrate this landmark achievement was held at the Ports of Auckland. The ceremony was an opportunity to acknowledge the exceptional contribution of Phil Matheson, Port Operations Manager, and the tireless efforts of the Ports Team and Drivers.
Dignitaries present at the event included Key Account Manager Danelle Jefferies, Regional Manager Wayne Henderson, and Scott Miers, Owner of PTS.
“The increased demand for our services has allowed Auto Logistics and the wider PTS Group to embark on a programme of significant capital expenditure, investing in new fleet and facilities,” added Keenan.
“This investment is a clear indication of our commitment to continuous improvement and growth in the automotive transportation sector.”
