The inbound Kia EV3 has just been named the winner of the Compact SUV category at the 2025 Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year Awards. It now goes on to challenge for the overall WWCoTY award.
A jury of 82 female motoring journalists from 55 countries evaluated 11 eligible vehicles. Criteria including safety, quality, price, design, ease of driving, performance and environmental footprint.
The Kia EV3, which aims to broaden the appeal of electric mobility globally, evidently stood out for driving, technology, comfort and value for money.
The EV3 with the 81.4kWh battery pack offers driving range of up to 605km (WLTP). With 400V fast charging technology, it can rezip from 10 to 80 per cent in 29 minutes. Fifteen min of fast charging adds over 200km of range.
Inspired by Kia´s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, its 2.68m wheelbase and 4.3m length conceal a spacious, living-room-inspired interior. The EV3 features a 460L boot with a two-tier floor, along with a 25-litre frunk.
The Kia EV3’s award showcases its global appeal and its resonance with women worldwide. It now progresses to the final round of judging to determine the overall WWCOTY Award winner. The Supreme winner will be announced on March 6.
