Harley-Davidson has shot out of the starting blocks for 2025, announcing a whole host of updated machines.
The 2025 Cruiser motorcycle collection includes six models with significant refreshes. The Sportster S model undergoes a suspension revision to make it more comfortable. Rough road ride comfort was an aspect we commented on in the original review. Newly revised suspension offers a 60 percent increase in rear wheel travel without impacting seat height. It improves rider comfort on some pavement conditions, presumably rough roads. Moreover, suspension at both ends is fully adjustable.
The reinvigorated 2025 Cruiser collection comes with new technology, refreshed styling and added performance. For each model now features a new Milwaukee-Eight 117 powertrain. That includes Low Rider S, Low Rider ST, Breakout, Heritage Classic, Fat Boy and Street Bob.
This year, the CVO division offers three premium, limited-production models. They comprise the CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide, along with the CVO Road Glide ST model. The latter combines the Milwaukee-Eight 121 high-output engine with a host of high-performance components. The result is a bagger that’s “quick, fast and sophisticated”.
A newcomer of sorts is the Street Glide Ultra. This is a fully equipped long-haul tourer based on the recently renewed Street Glide. It is intended for top-class two-up distance travel.
Also new for 2025, custom paint and graphics schemes on select motorcycle models. It is for those who want something different. Following a dealer order, the customer receives a motorcycle with exclusive paint and graphics. It is all backed by a full factory warranty.
Three such offerings will be available on select models. Each paint set features a black tank medallion with chrome accents and a mother-of-pearl textured background in purple or orange. The Mystic Shift paint scheme offers a dramatic hue shift that’s especially evident in full sunlight when walking around the bike.
The Firestorm paint scheme (two colour options) comprises flame details that pop at certain angles.
