Toyota New Zealand (TNZ) has made key leadership changes at the top.
Tatsuya Ishikawa is now officially the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), leading Toyota New Zealand into its next chapter. His focus is on delivering sustainable mobility solutions and exceptional customer experiences.
Toyota New Zealand Board Chair, Akitoshi Takemura, says “Given how well Ishikawa has performed in the Acting role, along with his connections to Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) and the global Toyota family, this was a natural appointment.”
Mark Young and Andrew (Drew) Davis are both new appointments to the Toyota New Zealand Board as Directors. They bring extensive experience and deep industry knowledge to their new governance roles.
All three roles were confirmed at the most recent Toyota New Zealand Board meeting on 26 March 2025.
Mark Young is also now the Chief Risk and Value Chain Officer, responsible for overseeing risk management and optimising Toyota’s value chain operations.
Andrew (Drew) Davis has the title of Chief Strategic Officer, shaping the company’s long-term direction.
The three are assisted by the rest of the TNZ Executive Leadership Team. These include:
Susanne Hardy – Assistant Vice President – Marketing, Sustainability and Technology
Michelle Povey – Assistant Vice President – After Sales Operations
Albertus Mulder – Assistant Vice President – Corporate and Product Planning.
