After taking on the world’s most evil villains in the James Bond film franchise and racing to the podium on the Formula 1 circuit, Aston Martin is now gearing up to reveal the fastest Vantage it’s ever built.
The British brand says this is a sports car “engineered for real drivers”, or one that’s intended for the sole purpose of finding the limit. With that being said, you’d assume that it’s packing some big power under the bonnet, but Aston says this isn’t a numbers game.
“This is an authentic, unadulterated celebration of pure performance,” added Aston. “This is Vantage.”
That’s about all it had to say about the upcoming model, but it did treat us to a new teaser image showing us its redesigned front fender vent.
If we had to speculate what the exact variant is, we’d say it’s something along the lines of a 770 Ultimate, which is the same nameplate that was tacked onto the DBS at the start of last year to farewell the model. Speaking of which, that car packed a twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre V12 under the bonnet – the same engine found in the V12 Vantage.
As far as power goes, we can expect the mystery model’s output to be in the realms of 770PS (566kW) and 900Nm of torque.
Aston Martin will reveal its fastest Vantage yet alongside its new GT3 race car equivalent and AMR24 F1 car on February 12, 2024.
