Audi New Zealand will soon introduce its first online reservation tool in conjunction with the launch of the brand’s first compact electric SUV, the Audi Q4 e-tron, later this month.
The tool is said to allow customers to spec out their chosen vehicle online in terms of body colour, wheel design, appearance packages, and more.
Once the desired specification has been selected, customers can then secure a build spot for their car with a $5000 deposit. Their preferred Audi dealership will then contact them to sign a sales agreement.
“The needs of our customers are changing and by introducing an online sales tool, we are not only streamlining the purchase process, we are making it more inclusive and accessible with customers being able to make the transaction from the comfort of their own home,” says Dean Sheed, general manager for Audi New Zealand.
Sheed added that the new platform will allow the carmaker to offer new models earlier than it would in a physical showroom.
When the Audi online reservation tool goes live on February 9, 2023, users will be able to access the pre-sale for the new Q4 e-tron which starts at $99,990 plus ORC.
