Audi is celebrating the tenth anniversary of its RS Q3 with a special edition version of the model dubbed the Edition 10 Years
It will be offered in its usual wagon form as well as a Sportback of which 555 units will be made between the two.
An exclusive colour clads the special edition SUV in the form of Chronos Gray paintwork but the option of a Dew Silver matte colour is also available.
Much of the SUV’s exterior elements have been blacked out including the roof frame, window slot trims, door trims, badging, front spoiler blades and diffuser insert. Darkened matrix LED headlights also add to the theme.
Behind the exclusive black 21-inch alloy wheels are Anthracite Grey brake calipers which can be optioned in blue or red.
Inside, passengers can expect to find new leather-Dinamica covered RS bucket seats with matte carbon seatbacks while copper-coloured stitching creates a contrast throughout the interior. Special “1 of 555” lettering can also be found on the 10.1-inch touch display.
Now in its second-generation, the special edition RS Q3 will receive the same turbocharged 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine as the standard model that makes 294kW and 480Nm of torque.
Power is sent to the road via a seven-speed automatic transmission and Audi’s famed Quattro all-wheel drive system.
There’s no indication on whether New Zealand will get any of the Audi RS Q3 Edition 10 Years model at this time.
