CFMOTO displayed five new models and two prototypes at the EICMA show. Below are the highlights.

Middleweight Sports Bike
The first reveal was the 675SR-R. This sports bike features aggressive lines and lighting. It is for both road and track work. Under the tank is a three-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC motor that outputs 66kW at 11,000rpm and 68Nm at 8250rpm. CFMOTO claims a zero to 100 time of 3.6sec on its way to a top of 220km/h. Features include a standard Quickshifter, a chromoly frame, an aggressive riding position that is said to be okay for a daily ride, and fully adjustable USD forks by KYB. It also comes with a five-inch TFT screen, and upshift lights. OTA upgrades for the electronics are possible.

Middleweight Commuter
A 675NK based on the sports bike was also on display. It has a more upright riding position, and features two-level adjustable traction control. A slight detune of the triple means a top speed of 200km/h, and a 0-100km/h time of 3.9sec.

Master of Speed
This is a vision of a future CFMOTO high-level sportsbike. And perhaps it will have V4 power because the company also showcased a new ‘V.04’ engine. The 90-degree V4 has displacement of 997cc through bore and stroke of 81mm and 48.4mm, respectively. Expected output is 156kW at 14,500rpm and peak torque is 114Nm.

Features include finger followers, titanium connecting rods, intake and exhaust valves, and a counter-rotating crankshaft.

And while we are on things CFMOTO, we have a review coming up of the firm’s 800 NK Advanced in the Dec/Jan issue of NZ Autocar. This road-oriented middleweight with streetfighter styling normally carries a $13,490 sticker price but over summer is selling for $12,490, in each case before ORCs. Think bargain-price KTM Duke 790, upon which it is based.
