VIA’s reminds dealers that displaying the CO2 emissions and rebate or fee as required by the Clean Car Programme https://www.transport.govt.nz/area-of-interest/environment-and-climate-change/clean-cars/ took effect on 1 April
Labelling – the Vehicle Energy Economy Label requires that CO2, any rebate/fee, and other information be displayed both physically and online on vehicles for sale by motor vehicle traders from April 2022.
VIA is aware TradeMe is making changes on 31 May to help automate this for listings displayed there – see https://www.trademe.co.nz/c/dealership/news/clean-car-discount-scheme-impact-on-our-dealers
Make sure all your advertising, including your website, is correctly displaying CO2 emissions plus any rebate or fee payable as well as displaying the new Fuel Economy Labels on cars
