Pricing for the upcoming Cupra Born V+ has now been revealed ahead of the fully electric hatchback’s arrival into New Zealand later this year.
Cupra has priced the model at $79,900 including ORC while buyers can also receive a Clean Car Rebate of up to $8625 from the Government.
Based on the Volkswagen MEB platform, the Cupra offers a maximum power output of 170kW from its single, rear-wheel drive electric motor, providing a 0 to 100km/h acceleration time of seven seconds.
A driving range up to 511km can be achieved on a single charge thanks to its 77kWh lithium-ion battery.
Highlights of the model include its ceremony lights which display upon unlocking the vehicle, 19-inch aero wheels, e-Boost which offers “instant performance” at the push of a button, and more.
There are six colours to choose from including four metallic options, a flat grey finish, and the Born’s special Aurora Blue colour which can be selected at an extra cost.
The model recently picked up a five-star ANCAP safety rating where it scored highly in the Adult Occupant Protection, Child Occupant Protection, and Safety Assist categories.
Customers can reserve a Cupra Born V+ now and expect their car to arrive between September and November 2023.
