In news that won’t shock, a build quality issue that is affecting the Cybertruck has apparently caused a temporary halt in deliveries in the US.
Wow imagine that, a Tesla with build quality issues. According to electric vehicle news outlet, Electrek, Tesla delivery agents are reportedly telling customers that their Cybertruck deliveries are on hold due to a production issue that is causing trim pieces to “fly off” the truck.

This ‘cantrail’ trim piece runs along the side of the Cybertruck’s roofline, starting at the edge of the A-pillar and continuing to the end of the tray. According to Road and Track, it is also the piece of bodywork most frequently mentioned in reports of loose bodywork, including in what are now four different official NHTSA complaints. Some sources suggest the adhesive used to stick this piece to the truck is failing.

Earlier this month, El Trumpo the Great, declared that he had bought a Tesla in a show of solidarity for Musk. “I’m going to buy [a Tesla] because…it’s a great product, as good as it gets.”

This latest drama adds to Tesla’s current list of problems which include falling sales around the globe, sliding stock prices and protests outside Tesla stores in the US. The charging network is being targeted too.
The Cybertruck, which is sometimes referred to as the ‘w*nk panzer’ and a rolling disgrace to automotive design, has been plagued with issues, and is now a target in the US.
It has the GOP all fired up too. Attorney General, Pam Bondi, warned Tesla vandals to “watch out”. “If you’re going to touch a Tesla, go to a dealership, do anything, you better watch out because we’re coming after you.” she said when ‘interviewed’ on Fox News. “I have already directed an investigation be opened to see how this is being funded [and] who is behind this”
“We have people we’re locking up on that,” she continued. “We have someone in jail right now from one of the dealerships. They threw a Molotov cocktail through a dealership. They’re looking at up to 20 years in prison.”
