The reveal of the first fully electric Abarth 500 is expected on November 23, ahead of the model’s launch next year.
Little is known about the hotted up little EV other than the fact it will be based on the standard Fiat 500e and that the model is apparently ‘more Abarth than ever’.
While that statement leaves much to the imagination, we can speculate that the electric model will exceed the outgoing petrol-powered 595 and 695’s performance.
There’s no word on battery capacity or range either but it will likely adopt the 500e’s larger 42kWh battery.
We have been given a slight glimpse of the new Abarth’s design as a leaked image surfaced last week. Its design resembles that of its predecessor’s but has a new grille-less front end, wider stance, and more aggressive bumper.
The first full electric Abarth will make its official worldwide debut on November 23 at 2am NZDT.
