Everyone is well aware of the Ferrari Purosangue. Even though no one outside of Ferrari HQ has seen it in full guise, you either love it or hate it.
I mean, it’s a Ferrari SUV of all things.
But if you happen to lean towards more loathing it than loving it, you can’t deny that the fact it will have a V12 at launch is pretty darn cool.
Ferrari’s iconic twelve-cylinder motor will power the Purosangue, a welcome surprise given the marque’s recent push towards embracing electrification with hybrid engines.
“We’ve tested several options, it was clear that the V12 was the right option,” Ferrari said.
The Purosangue isn’t your traditional Remuera Tractor. It’s a performance SUV (if that’s even a thing) and is a rival to the Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Bentayga, both of which use a V8.
Ha. Scums.
Ferrari hasn’t said anything about the specifics of the V12, but they did suggest other powertrain options (likely hybrids) could follow later.
In any case, Ferrari has teased the look of the Purosangue for a while now. Plus, a rather significant leak was shared on the internet a few months back. So, we won’t bore you with what you already have seen.
Instead, we now wait with anticipation for the official reveal later this year so we can fully understand what’s under the bonnet.
