Fiat Professional has returned the mid-size Scudo van to the New Zealand market. Orders are now being accepted for deliveries that start at the end of January 2025.
And the Fiat Ducato van has received an update for the 2025 model year.
The Scudo features an eight-speed automatic and Euro 6D compliant Multijet III turbodiesel. It delivers 106kW of power and 370Nm max torque, offering mean fuel efficiency of 7.6L/100km.
Scudo can hold up to 6.6 cubic metres, measures 5.31m long by 1.94m wide, and can tote a payload of 1329kg.
It features a tailgate lift and fixed window, dual sliding doors, a 10” touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a suite of safety technology. Included are lane keep assist, AEB and FCW as standard. Scudo is available in white with optional light grey, dark grey, and black paint. It starts at $59,990, including GST.
The Fiat Ducato line-up renews for 2025 with an updated look, connectivity systems and next-generation ADA.
Available in LWB and XLWB (both mid-roof), the Ducato features a 2.2L multi-jet II turbodiesel. It produces 130kW of power and 450Nm of torque, and is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The Ducato is also now available with more customer options, including converter vans, and cab chassis for those requiring more personalisation. There’s also a 12-seat minibus configuration for schools, clubs, sports teams, and tourism operators.
An optional Premium pack adds LED headlights with a cornering function, a techno dash design, and a 10” touchscreen. A safety pack includes enhanced safety/driver assistance features such as 360 degree park sensors, fatigue detection, traffic sign recognition, and adaptive cruise control.
An optional Camper pack comprises a digital cluster, wireless phone charger, 360 park sensors, and park assist. This too will be available to order on vehicles arriving next year.
The Fiat Ducato starts from $76,990 plus ORC, for the LWB, with vehicles available to test drive now.
Tourism operator Jucy Rentals has been a Fiat Professional fleet customer for the past two years.
Brendan McKenna, Chief Operating Officer of the Jucy Group (Travvia), says, “Doing business with the Fiat Professional team in New Zealand has been accessible from the get-go.
“They are responsive to servicing and maintenance requirements and offer us flexibility with delivery timing, ensuring we keep our fleet uptime high.
“We’re looking forward to adding more Ducatos to our Jucy fleet to provide our customers with the best innovation without losing the excellent reliability we’ve known over the past couple of years,” he says.
Jucy Group custom-built the interior of the Ducato to create their 4-berth ‘Cruiser’ Campervan.
The Fiat Professional range is covered by a 3-year/200,000km bumper-to-bumper warranty, which can be extended up to six years.
There is also a five-year roadside assist and eight-year/unlimited km corrosion warranty, as well as one-, two-, and three-year service plans.
