Ford will reveal its next-generation Ranger Raptor later this month. So, in the meantime, they have teased us with what to expect in a short video trailer.
Spy shots of the Ranger Raptor have taken the internet by storm over recent weeks. Images from Thailand shows the Raptor wearing some slightly toned down camouflage.
Ford’s latest video depicts the Raptor doused in a similar camo pattern being thrashed around the Australian outback.
The 2022 Raptor is expected to have a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine also found in the Explorer ST SUV. The sound in the teaser video, whether it is natural or not, does sound rather V6-y.
Ford has said the next-generation Raptor will be the most powerful factory model yet, with output is anticipated to be somewhere above 400 horsepower.
Despite no clear shots of the rear, the Raptor is set to feature a twin exit exhaust layout for the first time.

The official reveal date and time of the new Raptor is February 22 at 8 pm NZT, and it will be done via Ford’s Facebook and YouTube platforms.
