Opel NZ is offering free wallbox chargers with the purchase of its new Mokka-e during the month of December. Think of it as Christmas coming early.
Customers will receive a compact charging unit worth $2150 which comes with a 5m cable, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and in the choice of black or white. Sounds like you’ll have to pay for the installation though.
A full charge of the Mokka-e’s battery can be achieved thanks to the wall-mounted charger within seven hours, making it useful for overnight charging.
“Opel is all about helping Kiwis get into electric vehicles sooner and breaking down the barriers for people wanting to enter the EV market, one of those being cost, the other is simply showing that charging is easy,” says Opel Commercial Manage, Noah Robertson.
The Opel Mokka-e currently retails for $69,990 + ORC and is eligible for the Clean Car Discount of $8625.
