Jordan Haines will lead Geely New Zealand, which will launch in April.
Giltrap Group will distribute the brand locally, says Haines, who brings 13 years of experience in the automotive industry with him. He has been with the group since 2018, most recently as Volkswagen New Zealand National Sales Manager.
“I am excited at the opportunity to launch Geely into our market as it is a transformative brand with innovation and sustainability at its forefront. Geely will bring world-class engineering at an affordable price that is within the reach of all New Zealanders,” says Haines.

Geely Auto announced a strategic partnership with Giltrap Group in November 2024. The company describes the alliance with the New Zealand-owned distributor and retailer as a key achievement in Geely’s global expansion. They say it further solidifies its presence in the Oceania market and is pivotal to Geely’s sustained growth and reputation.
