Giltrap Group is set to welcome MG to its portfolio of automotive brands when it opens its new dealership in Auckland next month.
Over the past few years, the Chinese-English brand has gone from strength to strength by offering a host of new electrified and fully electric models, following its acquisition by SAIC Motor.
With MG rising in popularity in New Zealand, it was only a matter of time before one of the country’s largest automotive groups got in on the action.
“Giltrap Group represents the world’s best automotive brands, and MG is an outstanding addition to our portfolio,” says Dane Fisher, Retail CEO & CMO of Giltrap Group.
“MG’s combination of style, value and competitive pricing across the range means quality cars including EVs and PHEVs will be more accessible than ever. It’s no coincidence that one in every 20 new cars sold in New Zealand this year is an MG.”
One model it’s most excited to offer Kiwi customers is the MG4, one of New Zealand’s most affordable new EVs.
Giltrap MG will begin welcoming customers through the doors of its new premises located at 82 Great South Road, Newmarket on 1 September 2023.
It will also open a second dealership at 48 Great South Road in Manukau, Auckland, later next year.
