GM New Zealand has announced the establishment of a Certified Collision Repair Network, with Kawan Collision Repairs in Hastings and West Hamilton Auto Refinishers in Te Rapa becoming the first partners to join the initiative.
The GM Certified Collision Repair Network is already established in America and Australia, and GM will look to grow this network further in New Zealand to better meet the needs of customers who require collision repairs.
“Kawan Collision Repairs and West Hamilton Auto Refinishers have demonstrated their commitment to exceptional customer service, industry-leading facilities, and most importantly, safe and proper repairs to GM vehicles,” said Stephen Matthews, General Manager – Aftersales for GM New Zealand.
“GM Certified Collision Repairers make use of GM Genuine parts, follow GM approved repair procedures, use GM approved equipment and participate in GM backed training to help ensure the vehicle is returned to pre-accident condition. The Repairer accreditation is audited annually to ensure these high levels are maintained.”
The GM Certified Repairer will also conduct a full electronic system check after repairs using the same diagnostic equipment and processes as GMSV and Holden Service Outlets with additional support from General Motors if required.
“This helps provide peace of mind that your GM vehicle has had a safe and proper repair, ensuring that it will operate as it was designed and continue to be as safe as it was before it was damaged,” adds Matthews.
