Hyundai New Zealand announced today that they will be sending a helicopter to Napier to provide crucial support to their dealerships in Hawke’s Bay following the impact of Cyclone Gabrielle.
The helicopter will be carrying two generators, one for the Napier dealership and another for the Hastings dealership. These generators will provide the dealerships with power, ensuring that they can continue to serve their customers during this difficult time.
In addition, the locally owned company is providing a Starlink to the Napier dealership. Starlink will enable the dealership to connect to the internet, re-establish communication with the head office, and allow staff to connect with friends and family. This will provide much-needed support to the dealership’s staff during this challenging time.
“We are committed to supporting our team in Napier and Hastings during this difficult time,” said Hyundai New Zealand Chief Executive Andy Sinclair.
“We hope that these measures will provide some relief to our staff and allow us to continue serving our customers in the area.”
Hyundai New Zealand will continue to monitor the situation in Napier and Hastings and will provide additional support as needed.
