The Kia EV6 facelift has been revealed sporting a new look while it promises to go further on a charge thanks to a bigger battery.
Styling changes are most apparent upfront where it gets new, slim line DRLs incorporated into its sharp-looking headlight treatment. The bumpers have been reworked front and rear. Kia is on a roll with its funky looking wheel designs, available on the EV6 in 19- and 20-inch diameters. Also around the rear, the light bar has been subtly tweaked.

Improvements inside too
While there’s been no change to the size and nature of the dual 12-inch displays, in behind is the latest software while the graphics have been revised. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto now connect wirelessly.
The steering wheel is new and is said to include sensors that detect your hands are on the wheel so that the active cruise won’t keep prompting you to make little inputs to make sure you’re still there.
A fingerprint authentication system allows the driver to start the car by pressing their finger on a pad, which will also bring up all your saved settings. The airbag count improves to 10 in total and there are front and rear dash cams built in.
Dynamics improved also
Kia is said to have improved the ride comfort by tweaking suspension settings and there’s additional sound insulation as well.
Battery capacity is now up to 84kWh which will give a longer range than the old 77kWh pack. However, WLTP figures are yet to be provided. Power and torque figures for the motors remain the same.
Expect the car here later in the year.
