New Zealanders can now place orders for the hotly anticipated INEOS Grenadier off-roader.
The 4×4, which takes inspiration from the old-school Land Rover Defender will be available in four retailers around the country.
These are:
- Armstrong’s Auckland
- Armstrong’s Wellington
- Armstrong’s Christchurch
- Armstrong’s Dunedin
Three trim models of the old school off-roader are coming to New Zealand, starting with the basic Grenadier up to the Fieldmaster Edition.
All Grenadiers have a 3.0-litre, straight-six motor sourced from BMW. That is mated with an eight-speed automatic gearbox with manual override.
The chassis is a box-section ladder frame, and the body is made from galvanised steel.
Pricing for the Grenadier has already been announced, with the cheapest trim starting at $95,000.
Beyond the basic Grenadier package, you have the Trialmaster and Fieldmaster Editions. Both models are identically priced at $107,225.
Production begins in July and first customer deliveries will get under way in the final quarter of the year.
