Liam Lawson is back in action in Super Formula in Japan this weekend where he will enter the penultimate round, sitting just one point off the championship leader.
Elsewhere in the world, Kiwis will compete in the OTR SuperSprint which sees the usual Supercars contingent return to action and they’re joined by a strong Porsche Carrera Cup field racing in support.
Hayden Paddon can all but wrap up the European Rally Championship in the Czech Republic and make history as the first non-European to ever do so.
Marco Giltrap and Chris van der Drift are also in action in Lamborghini Super Trofeo in South Korea, as are Earl Bamber and Richie Stanaway in the GT World Challenge in Japan.
Rianna O’Meara-Hunt also hits Road America to continue her GT4 America campaign.

Liam Lawson enters the penultimate race weekend of the 2023 Super Formula Championship sitting second in the standings, only one-point off leader Ritomo Miyata.
The series will race once this weekend, before a double-header at Suzuka rounds out the season on 27-29 October.

Supercars will compete three 20-lap sprint races at The Bend this weekend with a fierce championship battle set to take centre stage.
Brodie Kostecki leads teammate Will Brown by 41 points, followed by Shane van Gisbergen in third, a further 13 points behind. Broc Feeney is a 13 points behind his teammate, in fourth.
Andre Heimgartner is sixth in the standings and Matt Payne is 19th as best rookie.

Hayden Paddon can wrap up the European Rally Championship in the Czech Republic this weekend. The Kiwi, and co-driver John Kennard, hold a 55-point lead over Latvia’s Mārtiņš Sesks with only two rounds to run.
The 13-stage, 200.43km rally is an all-asphalt event.

Earl Bamber joins his team Earl Bamber Motorsport at Okayama in the GT World Challenge. Bamber joins Adrian Henry D’Silva in the #61 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992).
With Broc Feeney busy in Supercars, Richie Stanaway gets the callup for Triple Eight Race Engineering. He will join forces with Prince Jefri Ibrahim in the #888 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo.
Chris van der Drift & Marco Giltrap – Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia

Marco Giltrap and Chris van der Drift head to the stunning Inje Speedium in South Korea for Round 4 of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia. The duo lead the championship, having won four of this year’s six races in the Lamborghini Auckland-entered, Absolute Racing-run Huracan.
We’re still working on finding a track schedule for this one, but it will make for some excellent daytime viewing over the weekend given there’s only a three-hour time difference. We’ll update the article as soon as we hear more.

The Porsche Carrera Cup Australia resumes at The Bend, racing three times in support of the OTR SuperSprint. Races one and three are 11 laps, while the longer Race 2 is 20.
Callum Hedge is currently second in the standings, 20 points behind leader Jackson Walls. Despite missing the opening round, Fabian Coulthard is eighth, while Chris Pither is 12th.

Rianna O’Meara-Hunt re-joins America’s Hannah Grisham in the Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4. The duo will compete two one-hour races in the AM class and currently sit ninth in the standings.
