LDV has lifted its new vehicle warranty in New Zealand from three years or 100,000km to a seven-year/200,000km deal.
As of Jan 1, that’s standard, across the LDV new vehicle range. However, the seven-year 200,000km warranty applies to models with ICE power only (diesel or petrol). The warranty duration is the same for EVs, but the mileage is less, at 160,000km.
There’s also seven years of roadside assistance as part of the warranty, and seven years of WOF inspections. The new warranty applies to any new LDV vehicle registered after 1 Jan 2025. And it applies automatically for such buyers.
LDV calls this a commitment to Kiwi families and businesses to keep them moving, delivering peace of mind for years to come.
The company says this is also a class-leading warranty for cargo vans sold in New Zealand.
Kym Mellow, GM of Inchcape New Zealand which handles LDV vehicles, says that this initiative elevates the standards of the commercial vehicle market in New Zealand. It also highlights the brand’s commitment to support future LDV owners.
This new warranty, he says, is a “significant step in enhancing the confidence our customers have in their purchase. LDV vehicles continue to help Kiwi businesses work harder every day.”
The brand’s vision is to establish LDV as the partner of choice for Kiwi commercial customers and their families.
