Mercedes will debut their latest van next month, which also doubles as the launch of their new VAN.EA platform.
The all-new T-Class gets revealed on April 26, and the Silver Arrows has given us a teaser image to ponder over in the meantime,
We get a first look at the van’s front end, which stays true to its predecessor’s roots with the grille and headlight design.
The VAN.EA platform the new van will use introduces users to a “new era” of van life. Take that how you will, but Mercedes is committed to making the new T-Class a luxurious van for the upper-tier market.
It’s not fully electric. That should be coming sometime after 2025 when Mercedes says they will have EV variants of each model. We’ve already seen the concept for an electric EQT, which will eventually make its way to production.
However, hybrid powertrains aren’t out of the question and are rumoured to join the expected diesel and petrol versions.
