The MG Car Club is staging a special display this Sunday Dec 8th to mark the end of MG’s centenary year. A large line-up of MGs from the very early days will be on display. Amongst those in the line-up is the recently released 2024 MG Cyberster.

There will also be tributes paid to owners whose involvement with MG extends back over 50 years or more. And then there are the MGs whose current owners or families also had them back in their younger days.

One of the special machines attending is the 1955 MG that 1967 Formula 1 World Champion Denny Hulme drove. He bought it new at the start of his motorsport career. Denny purchased the car again in the 1970s and it is still owned by his wife Greeta to this day.

All the owners attending on Sunday have a life-long interest in the marque. Many purchased their first example as teenagers when sports cars were the must-have vehicle of the period.
They all have interesting tales of their MG experiences over the decades they have been involved with the brand.
