The world’s first electric convertible, the MG Cyberster, recently claimed a Red Dot ‘Product Design’ award. It will arrive in MG dealerships before the end of the year.

Once a sports car manufacturer, MG is now an innovative EV brand that produces a broad range of passenger vehicles. MG’s evolving brand identity is recognised in its ‘Product Design’ Red Dot award.
MG’s New Zealand’s Country Manager, Arek Zywot, said the Cyberster is a design that better represents where MG stands today, and in the direction it will head in the future.
“The Cyberster is a significant step in unlocking our growth as a brand that brings affordable cars in every segment.”

Cyberster test cars have recently arrived in Australia ahead of its launch later this year. “The arrival of Cyberster in New Zealand will deliver the ultimate in exhilarating, top-down and emissions-free sports car motoring” Mr Zywot added.
The Red Dot Award involves a group of 50 internationally renowned experts who determine worthy winners via a rigorous selection process. MG’s win underlines the marque’s innovation, creativity and desire to push the boundaries of design for everyday Australians and New Zealanders.

The Cyberster will join the multi award-winning MG4 when it debuts in Kiwi showrooms later this year.
