MG has announced that the MG4 has been confirmed to go on sale in New Zealand in the second half of 2023.
The fully electric hatchback made its Australasian debut in Sydney over the weekend following the recent announcement that it achieved a full five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.
Kiwis can already register their interest for the model here, ahead of its arrival into the country later this year. Pricing will also be released closer to its launch.
Since the MG4 went on sale in the UK, it has received outstanding reviews according to MG New Zealand’s Country Manager, Patrick Bourke.
“It has been praised for its sophistication, drivability and levels of innovative equipment complemented by its dynamic and engaging appearance. It looks incredible in photos and this is only amplified when viewed in the flesh,” he said.
A long range version MG ZS was also revealed for New Zealand which takes range from 320km to 440km on a single charge thanks to its 72kW battery.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer the Long Range to existing and aspiring MG customers,” said Bourke.
The MG ZS EV Long Range is priced at $64,990 plus ORC excluding Clean Car Rebate and is available to order from MG dealers nationwide.
