Electric carmaker Polestar is making its foray into the SUV market with its upcoming model, the Polestar 3.
More details about the SUV have been revealed including the platform it shares with Volvo, its performance and other features.
All variants of the Polestar 3 will feature a rear-biased dual motor powertrain and harness the power of electric torque vectoring via a dual clutch system.
Adaptive dual-chamber air suspension and active dampers come as standard which allows the SUV to switch between a softer, more comfortable ride and a firmer one.
The optional Performance Pack brings power to 380kW and torque to 910Nm alongside further tuning of the active dampers and air suspension. Gold details are also included in the design like valve caps, seat belts and a laser-etched interior light strip.
Technological fitout inside includes a centralised core from NVIDIA as well as a plethora of safety systems from Volvo, Zenseact, Luminar, and Smart Eye.
All will be revealed at the Polestar 3 premiere on October 13 at 6AM NZDT.
