Nissan New Zealand has today announced pricing and specification for its latest electrified SUV, the X-Trail e-Power with e-4orce.
The model arrives at the top of the range and will be offered in both ST-L and Ti-L trim with both local models receiving all-wheel drive.

Pricing for the X-Trail ST-L e-Power with e-4orce starts off the lineup at $62,990 MSRP while the top-of-the-range Ti-L e-Power with e-4orce is priced at $66,990 MSRP. Both come exclusively in five-seat configurations.
ST-L e-Power with e-4orce
The ST-L e-Power with e-4orce is packed with features such as synthetic leather seating with heated front seats, a leather steering wheel, privacy glass, 18-inch alloy wheels, dual zone climate control and auto wipers.
Technology is also abundant with a six speakers audio system, a navigation-equipped touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, as well as Nissan’s ProPilot with lane keep assist and a digital around view monitor.

Ti-L e-Power with e-4orce
As for the range-topping Ti-L e-Power with e-4orce, more plush creature comforts have been added such as a heated steering wheel, Bose 10-speaker sound system, quilted Nappa leather-accented seats with memory seat functions, rear sunshades, a hands-free rear tailgate, and heated rear outer seats.
The Ti-L also receives a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 10.8-inch head-up display, wireless phone charging and wireless Apple CarPlay, as well as a 12.3-inch TFT digital driver display.
What’s under the bonnet?
Unlike a conventional hybrid, the X-Trail e-Power’s e-4orce system is said to provide an EV-like driving experience with the petrol engine solely acting as a power generator for the electric motors mounted to each axle.
Under the bonnet both models is a 1.5-litre direct injection inline three-cylinder that acts as a generator to keep the 1.8kWh lithium ion-battery charged, supplying a total power output of 157kW to all four wheels through its two electric motors.
The result of the e-4orce setup is that it provides an instant, linear throttle response while maintaining a fuel economy of 6.2L/100km.
