Ford’s new Ranger will start at $46,990 all the way up to the line-topping Raptor at $89,990.
Clean Car fees do come into play but will only set you back roughly $2000 for the standard 4×4.
The cheapest model is the single-turbo, 2.0-litre diesel XL 4×2.
For those looking at getting a 4×4 model, pricing starts at $55,990, while the most affordable double cab is $58,990.
The most expensive of all is the twin-turbo, 3.0-litre V6 EcoBoost Raptor. It’s also the first time the Raptor has a petrol engine and produces an astounding 292kW of power and 583Nm of torque.

Recently, the ute tax has been a big discussion point, so it is interesting to see how the Ranger fleet fits in that spectrum.
The fees aren’t as hefty as you might imagine unless, of course, you want the extra grunt of the Raptor.
“The pricing of the 2022 line-up ensures that Ranger continues to represent excellent value for money while the more powerful yet cleaner powertrains also take a bit of the sting out of the clean car fees,” Ford New Zealand Managing Director Simon Rutherford said.
