This weekend’s Take Charge Christchurch Expo will be New Zealand’s largest display of electric vehicles, with some 46 cars, vans, and a ute expected to be present.
The event gives attendees a chance to see what EV technology is currently available if they are thinking of making the switch from petrol- and diesel-powered vehicles.
Some of the brands attending include Abarth, Audi, BMW, BYD, Citroen, Cupra, Fiat, Ford, Genesis, GWM, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, LDV, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Opel, Peugeot, Polestar, Porsche, Skoda, Subaru, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo.
It won’t just be cars on display though as a number of EV chargers will also be present for the public to view, as well as battery electric outboard motors. A number of exhibitors will also be giving away prizes.
Take Charge Christchurch Expo will be held at the Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre from 25 to 26 November 2023, running from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 9am to 4pm on Sunday. The event is free to attend for all members of the public.
