Peugeot has previewed the design of its third-generation E-3008 ahead of the model’s full reveal later this week.
Before we touch on its appearance inside and out, we should note the new “E” designation in its name stands for “electric”. So that means there won’t be a petrol- or diesel-powered model.
The incoming E-3008 wears a similar face to the rest of Peugeot’s line-up, with the brand’s ‘claw’ LED daytime running lights making an appearance at the front alongside its new lion badge.
In profile, the third-generation model gets a sloping roofline, like a coupe, which is a major styling change compared with its predecessor’s typical SUV shape.
The rear end is host to a flicked-up lip that sits above a set of LED taillights and a sloping boot hatch.
Inside, there’s a floating 21-inch curved display which includes both the gauge cluster and infotainment touchscreen, as well as a flat top and bottomed steering wheel.
The new Peugeot E-3008 will be revealed on September 12, 2023, at 12.30 pm CET (10:30 pm NZST) in France.
