Fancy sleeping on a red leather bed surrounded by F1 cars in Ferrari’s museum?
Airbnb has devised an ‘Icon series’ of unique stays and events around the world and one of these gives Ferrari fanatics the chance of a lifetime.
After a tour of the museum in Maranello they’ll be able to stay the night on a custom bed made in the same red leather used on the seats of a Ferrari.
Former F1 driver Marc Gene is listed as the host, and he will give the guests a few laps around the Fiorano test track in the morning in a Ferrari 296 GTB.
The lucky guests will also receive VIP tickets to the 2024 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix including access to the paddock area. And after the conclusion of the race, a table is reserved for them at Ristorante Cavallino, where Enzo himself liked to dine.
People are asked to request a booking on the Airbnb site and the company will ‘randomly choose a set of potential guests’ and then ‘review their answers for unique perspectives and connections to the icon’. Those chosen will then be selected to book.
There is no price attached, but you can rest assured it will not be cheap.
