SsangYong has announced pricing and specification for its fully electric Korando e-Motion SUV, with the model on its way to New Zealand shores later this year.
The electric SUV features a 62kWh battery pack which feeds juice to its 140kW/360Nm electric motor, enabling an approximate WLTP range of 339km.
There’s enough power to tow a 1500kg braked load while retaining the practicalities of an SUV.
Alongside emissions-free propulsion, the Korando e-Motion arrives with a full suite of safety features which have earnt it a five-star Euro NCAP rating.
Priced at $59,990 plus ORC, the new SsangYong qualifies for a government rebate of $8625.
Orders can be placed here from October 5 or at any SsangYong dealer. The model is expected to arrive between late December 2022 and early January 2023.
