Say hello to the next-gen Skoda Superb. Well, sketches of it. Not to worry though, as the new model is set to be revealed in full next week.
We’ve been drip-fed teasers of the Czech brand’s new internal combustion engine flagship for months now, but today is the day we’ve been given our clearest look yet at its exterior styling.
The sketches show Skoda’s ‘Modern Solid’ design language strutting its stuff – just like it does on the newly revealed Kodiaq – with sharply drawn lines found on every surface of both the wagon and sedan variants.
In saying that, the new model doesn’t look like it will stray too far from its predecessor, with the only real major changes being a more angular grille, upgraded LED Matrix beam headlights, and new LED tail lights with crystalline elements.
However, the fourth-generation Superb has grown in size, offering occupants more headroom and cargo space inside.
Speaking of which, we already know what the interior looks like after Skoda released images of the car’s dashboard back in August, which features a 10-inch digital gauge cluster, a 13-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a steering column-mounted gear selector.
It’ll also come with Skoda’s new Smart Dials feature, combining physical rotary dials with 32mm digital screens that can be used to control various functions like the cabin temperature and radio volume.
We don’t have long before the covers come off the next-gen Skoda Superb, with the reveal set to take place on November 2, 2023.
