Bentley is known for its plush leather interiors, wood panelling, and silky-smooth 12-cylinder engines. It has now decided to take on a more sustainable approach with its Bentayga Odyssean Edition.
Limited to 70 examples worldwide, the Odyssean makes use of the Bentayga Hybrid’s 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine combined with a 100kW electric motor to produce a total output of 340kW.
A new 18kWh battery has been fitted which allows the SUV to travel a distance of up to 45km in electric mode.
Sustainability is a feature inside too. A new centre console now features 90 per cent less lacquer on the wooden veneer while ‘sustainable’ natural leather now clads the entirety of the cabin.
Tweed panels made from 100 per cent British wool can also be found inside which complement the unique three-colour palette which hasn’t been seen in the second-generation Bentayga before.
Reminding you what you bought, there is Odyssean Edition badging on the rear-most roof pillar while exclusive tread plates have also been fitted.
Over 60 colours are available while the Odyssean features ten spoke 22-inch wheels with painted accents along with the front and rear bumpers, headlight and taillight surrounds, and lower body trim.
The special edition is somewhat of a precursor to the future of the Bentley lineup with the brand aiming to only offer hybrids from 2025 alongside the launch of its first fully electric vehicle.
Bentley’s Bentayga Odyssean Edition will go on sale in November, 2022 while production commences in the first quarter of next year.
